Geopolitika

„Geopolitika“ (or „Geopolitics“ in English) refers to the study of the effects of geography on international politics and international relations. It examines how geographic factors such as location, resources, and environment influence the power dynamics among nations and affect political decisions. Geopolitics encompasses various elements, including territorial disputes, resource management, cultural influences, and strategic military considerations. It seeks to understand how geography shapes national interests and the behavior of states on the global stage. Geopolitical analysis often considers both physical geography (e.g., mountains, rivers, and climate) and human geography (e.g., population distribution, urbanization, and political boundaries) to assess challenges and opportunities for countries. The term is often used in discussions about strategy, security, and global conflicts.
