This country has always been known for its rich history and phenomena structure. This 500-year-old abandoned city in India is so beautiful that it will take your breath away. The flourishing fortress city was the capital of the Northern Indian Muslim state. This city got completely devoid of people, and no one lived there. The island is located around 9 miles from the city of Nagasaki. Earlier, the city was highly populated, and industrialization took place here. This island got abandoned in the mid-90s when the coal ran out, and since then, no one lives here.

This city was very long abandoned and mining used to take place here in the late 19th century and early 20th century. In the mid-90s when the mining stopped, the city was completely left by the people.

This city is named after a British chemical engineer who mined here for the mineral salt pitter. This mineral was used for producing fertilizers. In the late 80s, after World War 1, the Britishers banned this mineral from selling in Germany, which forced the Germans to stop mining in Chile. This city has been abandoned since then.
7. Varosha, Cyprus:
This city was once one of the most populated tourist destinations in the world and very popular too. In the early 1970s, a special Turkish army took control of the city and banned anyone in the city other than their military. Many people were forced to leave their homes, and they never returned. This city is now covered with plants, and it is officially a ghost town now.

In the late 1800s, gold was discovered in this town, which led to the increase in mining in this town. Due to this, the town grew largely in population, and it had all the amenities for the residents. After around 50-60 years, this city had a massive drop in population, and soon it went down to zero.

This city held a population of nearly 50,000 people, and now it is just a ghost town. The city is a radioactive city that forced all the residents to leave their homes, making it an abandoned city. However, the radiation is relatively low now, but it is still not an appropriate place to live.

In the late 1800s, this place was a home for around 2500 people. Many residents here worked for the mining companies. But in 2017, this city got abandoned due to the mine fire. This fire damaged the whole city, burning over some 300 feet deep. It has everything from its big hotels, stadiums, etc. But people have several restrictions over them. If they say anything wrong about the leader, they just get vanished.
