Starting from the absolute basic ones, the style, fit, fabrics, patterns, and designs have been changing.

This is the most basic yet one of the most wearable women’s jeans styles. It doesn’t just suit almost every woman, but also looks pretty good when paired with any of various different styles of tops, or even a shirt. Neither too fit, nor loose, it’s simple & straight.

Skinny jeans styles are immensely popular and super duper stylish. Skin fit jeans, as the name suggests, fits you too well, making your legs look slimmer than they are. Available in all sizes, and definitely a yes when it comes to leveling up your entire look with little to no major effort.

3. Boyfriend Jeans

Boyfriend jeans are a bit boyish, which is where they get their name from. They have a looser fit, especially around the thighs. The bagginess makes it look visibly different. Boyfriend jeans are quite trendy, although they’re not preferred by many women. The one in the picture is a distressed one.

A high rise jeans refer to a kind of jeans that have the waistline quite higher than a regular one. It sits right across the upper area of our waist. These sort of accentuate a slim waist. Usually, it has about three to four buttons. It looks super stylish when paired with stuff like crop tops, and heels.

Mid-Rise jeans are neither long nor short lengthwise. These pairs of jeans clearly belong to the regular category of jeans. These fit perfectly well right on your waistline. Usually the comfiest, wearable and hassle-free pairs of jeans you can have.

Last in the list of lengthwise segregation brings us to the low rise jeans. It is also commonly referred to as the low waist jeans. It’s a kind of jeans style that sits about 3 inches or 8 centimetres lower than the navel. These are usually worn by women with an average height or who are taller.

Many women prefer ripped or distressed jeans as part of their favourite casuals. It has these purposefully slit & cut areas around the knees & thighs, along with some tweezed threads to get that distressed or ripped look. These are super comfortable, and quite trendy.

8. Bell Bottom Or Flared Jeans

The bell-bottom jeans had become quite a rage at one point in time. The bottoms of these jeans are cut in the shape of a bell. In other words, they’re flared. They’re wide at the bottom and much like the 70’s fashion. They are not highly wearable on a regular basis, but good to flaunt occasionally.

Cropped jeans are the type of jeans styles that are not full length. They’re cut to either achieve ankle length or even knee-length (capris) or somewhat below the knee at times. Again, they are quite comfortable and stylish; but usually, a bit underrated in terms of how wearable these are.

10. Washed Jeans

Washed jeans get their name from the look of the fabric and the style of manufacturing those jeans. There’s a transition of a shade that gets as light as white (faded look). Usually, they are found in colors like dark to medium blue, even icy blue to white, and black, dark grey, etc. Light washed jeans look quite elegant as casuals.

Cuff jeans refer to the jeans style when the bottom of the jeans are inversed and stitched. The fold that is intentionally made while making these jeans, usually show a lighter (inside) shade through it. These look really very pretty, as they break the monotony of one single shade or color.  

12. Embroidered Jeans

As the name suggests, embroidered jeans have embroidery done over them. It’s usually carved at the legs or sides. Floral embroidery is the most common form of embroidery done on a pair of jeans. Ideally, on blue denim, white, pink, red, yellow, green, or similar blue shades of threads are used.

13. Printed Jeans

Printed jeans seem like just another additional feature to escape the monotony of plain, single tone jeans. These have prints all over them. The prints usually aren’t too big. Instead, small designs are used at little distances. The prints used are primarily white or off white. However, in recent times other colours and bigger prints are used as well. 

14. Patched Jeans

In patched jeans, patches of various different kinds of fabrics are used on the jeans (patchwork). These fabrics could be of different shades, plain, have checks, or even other geometric prints on them. Sometimes, the patches are from the blue family (light to darker shades) itself or other colours such as red & black. 

15. Denim Jeggings

The word jeggings come from combining the terms jeans and leggings. These are tight-fitting but stretchable (more elasticity), just like leggings. Jeggings resemble jeans in their denim shades and fit. The fabric isn’t particularly denim, but usually a mixture of 2 to 3 fabrics that may consist of denim to a certain extent at times.
