It is better to start from scratch and begin with simple recipes. Also, many college and school competitions require students to make dishes without the use of fire and microwaves. 1. Pizza Fresca


An easy dish that contains the flavour and delicacy of a pizza yet is extremely simple and trouble-free. This dish tastes amazing and can win you not only hearts but also prizes.


Smash a few cloves of garlic, and add olive oil to it. Add chopped spring onions, chopped tomatoes, sliced olives, and chopped basil leaves to it. Then add salt, oregano, and pizza mix. Mix the ingredients well and let it rest for a few minutes. Now take a round bread slice and spread the mixture on it evenly. Sprinkle some grated cheese and your Pizza Fresca is ready to be served.

2. Chocolate Swiss Roll


One can never go wrong with chocolate. This is one of the safest dishes to make as one can never go wrong with chocolate. This recipe also includes paneer, another favourite for most people.


Make a fine powder out of some bourbon biscuits. Add water and butter to the powder and make a soft dough. Now crumble the paneer and keep it aside. Apply butter to parchment paper and spread the chocolate dough on it using a rolling pin. Now spread the paneer on this and press it firmly. Now roll it as tight as you can and refrigerate for 20 minutes. Cut the roll and it is ready to steal hearts.

3. Biscuit Cake

Cakes are everyone’s favourite. One of the best cakes that one cake makes without fore or microwave is this biscuit cake. It is one of the simplest and most delicious things that one can make.


Finely crush 10 Marie biscuits. Add chocolate sauce, mil and powdered sugar to this crumble. Mix the ingredients well and transfer the contents into a baking tray. Top with chopped pistachios and let it refrigerate for half an hour. Cut into pieces and serve.

4. Pin-wheel Sandwich


This is yet another simple, but scrumptious dish. It looks extremely attractive and tastes very good. It can be varied in ingredients to suit one’s taste.


Take a slice of bread and moisturize it with some water. Now take a rolling pin and roll the bread into a thin slice. Coat it with some butter and then spread green chutney on it. In another bowl, grate some cheese and paneer. Add chopped green chillies, salt and black pepper to this mixture. Spread this mixture on the bread and then roll the bread to make it like a swirl. Cut into smaller pieces and enjoy the taste.

5. Yogurt salad


Another amazing and healthy dish is this salad. It is easy to make and a healthier variation to the traditional salad with mayonnaise dressing.


Take some thick yogurt and drain the excess water using a muslin cloth. Now add some salt, black pepper, pizza mix, oregano and chilli flakes to this mixture. Now add some chopped and deseeded tomatoes, finely chopped onions and capsicum and boiled sweet corn kernels to this mixture. You can also add olives. Your salad is ready to serve.

6. Corn Flakes Bhel

Another healthy yet tasty snack, which can be made effortlessly with minimal ingredients. This dish can be made by anyone and doesn’t require any expertise or special skill.


To a bowl of corn flakes, add chopped tomatoes, onion and green chillies. Now add the juice of one lemon, salt and chaat masala to this mixture. You can also add tamarind chutney. Sprinkle sev and coriander leaves and relish this chat.

7. Pani Puri two ways


Pani Puri is yet another mouth-watering dish that never fails to please people. This dish can be one of the easiest, yet tastiest delicacies that one can make.


For this dish, you need one packet of ready-made Pani Puri. In a bowl, take some sprouts and black grams. Add salt and black pepper to this mixture. In another bowl, add some chopped tomatoes, onions and olives. Add salt and oregano to this mixture. Now you have two fillings ready. You can serve the second filling in puri and top it with cheese. The first filling can be served in puri with Jal-jeera water.

8. Peanut Butter relish:


Peanut butter is yet another thing that one can rely on to impress others. This dish will be loved especially by kids and is the best way to win their hearts.


In a bowl, combine half cup peanut butter, one-fourth cup honey and half teaspoon vanilla extract. Stir together half cup milk powder, half cup oats and some cracker crumbles. Shape the mixture into small balls. Refrigerate before saving.

9. Mixed Fruit and Yoghurt parfait


A parfait is one of the best dishes as it not only tastes heavenly but also looks amazing. This dish is easy to make yet very intricate in taste.


Grate one apple and mix it into a cup of yogurt. Add some honey to this mixture and put it in the fridge to cool it. Now take the glass in which you want to serve the parfait. Add some muesli at the base and top it with this mixture. Add chopped fruit of your choice and your parfait is ready to be munched on.

10. Fruit Mint Lemonade


This is a refreshing drink and one of the best ways to beat the summer heat. Cooking without fire is not just about food, but also drinks. This super easy drink will go best with any dish.


Take two lemons and squeeze out the juice from them. Take the juice in a large glass and add salt and sugar to it. Add some water and stir continuously. Add crushed ice to this juice. Add two spoons of pomegranate seeds and some chopped apples in the serving glass. Pour the juice into this and garnish it with mint leaves.

11. Zucchini Noodles in Avocado sauce


This is yet another sophisticated looking, yet simple to make dish. This dish is not only healthy but also makes for a filling lunch.


Use a peeler to make the zucchini noodles. Blend water, lemon juice, avocado and basil leaves to make a smooth sauce. Combine the noodles and the sauce in a mixing bowl. Add salt and pepper to taste. Top with cherry tomatoes.

12. Chilled Banana Delight

Banana is one of the most loved fruits. Combining chocolate with it can produce the most profound and yummy dessert possible. This recipe will satisfy the craving for a sweet and chocolaty dessert.


Mix 200 grams and chocolate or vanilla ice cream and an equal amount of sweetened whipped cream in a bowl. Take the mould of your choice and place two halves of a banana at the base of the mould. Pour half the mixture into the mould. Add a few more halves of the fruit and then pour the remaining mixture. Freeze the mixture for 4-5 hours before serving.

13. Milk Poha


Poha is a very famous Maharashtrian dish. Sweet poha is a simple sweet dish made using the simplest of ingredients. This sweet dish is a simple Indian dish that can be made almost effortlessly.


Wash poha or aval with water and soak it in clean water for half an hour. In another bowl add milk, sugar and grated coconut. Add mashed banana and then combine all ingredients together. Enjoy this dish by garnishing it with some raisins and cashews.

14. Coffee Barfi


This is yet another simple yet mind-blowing recipe. It may take some time to cook, but will instantly win hearts when served.


In a mixing bowl, add 100 grams of powdered biscuits, 150 grams of condensed milk and 25 grams of unsalted butter. Beat the mixture and then transfer it into a mould. Let it set in the fridge for one hour. Now in another bowl, combine coffee powder, milk and butter. Beat this mixture and spread it on the layer of the biscuit and set it in the fridge for another hour. Top with almonds before serving.

15. Coconut ladoos


This is another mouth-watering dish that takes very little time to prepare. It is easy to make the recipe and does not involve many ingredients or much effort.


Take ½ cup of dry Pethas and grate it. To this, add one cup of desiccated coconut and make a binding mixture. Divide it into three portions. To one, add saffron milk. Similarly, add rose syrup to another portion and add blue curacao. Now take this dough and fill it with gulkand and make small balls. Coat with desiccated coconut and serve these attractive ladoos.
